So my question is, have you previously got one and then after regretted the decision, or have been called out on the decision to get that tattoo. I've been doing some research on /r/tattoos and been looking at a lot of the text posts surrounding these kind of tattoos since there seems to be a level of controversy - people finding them racist etc. I've been considering getting a Traditional/Native American tattoo for a while now, and I've got a consultation booked with an artist in around about a week. Bickering, fighting, personal attacks of any kind.Any contest, survey, school project, auction, promotion, or money raising event, spam, advertising, self promotion.Equipment discussion or buying/selling anything. ![]() Posting work that is not yours as your own.This includes tattoos done in someone's home. Tattoos performed outside of a professional studio: prison tattoos, scratchers, bootleggers, kitchen magicians, private studios etc.Memes, rage comics, reaction gifs, "top 10" style lists, blog posts, pun threads, and other copypasta.Rude judgment such as "you'll regret that," suggesting /r/cringepics /r/badtattoos /r/trashy /r/ATBGE etc.Any and all medical questions or advice will be removed. If you are having an issue with a tattoo, return to your artist or ask a medical professional. ANY discussion of medical advice or aftercare, including possible allergic reaction, infection, or if a tattoo is healing properly.Only a qualified artist will be able to answer your question and discussion on Reddit will only lead to misinformation. Any questions about whether a tattoo will "work" or how to add to your tattoo.Hate speech (sexuality slurs, racial slurs, religious slurs) even if you think you mean it as a "joke".Keep comments about the tattoo, not OP's body. Any attacks, advances, compliments or comments made on personal appearance.Posting pictures once your tattoo is fully healed.Constructive criticism, discussion, and debate.Using the search function before posting any questions.(This includes looking for artists in your area, pain discussion, tattoo placement.)
